Wow... it has been 10 weeks since I have posted pictures! I remember thinking my belly was huge then, but looking back I realize that was nothing! :)
I am now going to the doctor for a visit every week. Last week she said that I am dilated 1 cm already and that the baby is very low (-1 stage if you know what that means). Hopefully that means she will be arriving right around my due date or a little earlier!
I just took this picture today of my 37-week belly! My maternity clothes aren't even fitting very well lately so I am very thankful that I have a uniform for work! Tim's t-shirts are the most comfortable when I am lounging around at home now! :)
I took this one morning when I was letting the dogs out back. Would be prettier without the fence, but my hair was wet and I didn't have any shoes on. Oh well!
36-week belly
Two weeks ago, Tim's brother and their friend Justin were here for a short visit. They went golfing every day and luckily Justin made it home without any broken bones this year. Last year, some of you may remember he broke both wrists while mountain biking. Unfortunately, this year he went home with food poisoning. We went to a Mexican restaurant the night before they left and two mornings later Tim, Justin, and I were all sick. Hopefully Justin will still want to visit next year!
Three weeks ago my parents drove out here for a visit. We were able to do quite a bit in the short time that they were here. We drove as far as possible around Lake Chelan, went to the beach on the lake, went to a few wineries, picked up some amazing white-flesh peaches at the Entiat fruit stand, went on a dinner cruise, and went to Silver Falls which is a waterfall about 40 minutes up the Entiat River from our house. It is beautiful there, but of course I remembered about half way there that I left the camera at home. We will for sure be going back there though because there are steps up and down both sides of the waterfall. I would have loved to go all the way to the top, but was tired after going only about 1/4th of the way! I will post some of the pictures I did take though. I was 34 weeks at that time.
Here are a couple pictures from the dinner cruise we went on. The boat is a 1956 Chris Craft that was originally owned by Dean Martin. It is a 56 ft yacht called the Innamorata.
These two pictures were taken at the Bear Mountain Ranch beach on Lake Chelan. It is for the homeowners at the golf course, but there is rarely anyone down there. It is really only fun to swim when it is in the 100's here because that is the only time the water actually feels good. It is freezing!!
This picture was taken at one of the wineries that we stopped at called Karma. It is very pretty there and I hear the wine is great also! :)
We drove up the south shore of Lake Chelan to a place called Field's Point Landing. The ferry makes daily stops here on its way to the other end of the lake (Stehekin) and back.
