37 weeks!!

Wow... it has been 10 weeks since I have posted pictures! I remember thinking my belly was huge then, but looking back I realize that was nothing! :)

I am now going to the doctor for a visit every week. Last week she said that I am dilated 1 cm already and that the baby is very low (-1 stage if you know what that means). Hopefully that means she will be arriving right around my due date or a little earlier!

I just took this picture today of my 37-week belly! My maternity clothes aren't even fitting very well lately so I am very thankful that I have a uniform for work! Tim's t-shirts are the most comfortable when I am lounging around at home now! :)

I took this one morning when I was letting the dogs out back. Would be prettier without the fence, but my hair was wet and I didn't have any shoes on. Oh well!

36-week belly

Two weeks ago, Tim's brother and their friend Justin were here for a short visit. They went golfing every day and luckily Justin made it home without any broken bones this year. Last year, some of you may remember he broke both wrists while mountain biking. Unfortunately, this year he went home with food poisoning. We went to a Mexican restaurant the night before they left and two mornings later Tim, Justin, and I were all sick. Hopefully Justin will still want to visit next year!

Three weeks ago my parents drove out here for a visit. We were able to do quite a bit in the short time that they were here. We drove as far as possible around Lake Chelan, went to the beach on the lake, went to a few wineries, picked up some amazing white-flesh peaches at the Entiat fruit stand, went on a dinner cruise, and went to Silver Falls which is a waterfall about 40 minutes up the Entiat River from our house. It is beautiful there, but of course I remembered about half way there that I left the camera at home. We will for sure be going back there though because there are steps up and down both sides of the waterfall. I would have loved to go all the way to the top, but was tired after going only about 1/4th of the way! I will post some of the pictures I did take though. I was 34 weeks at that time.

Here are a couple pictures from the dinner cruise we went on. The boat is a 1956 Chris Craft that was originally owned by Dean Martin. It is a 56 ft yacht called the Innamorata.

These two pictures were taken at the Bear Mountain Ranch beach on Lake Chelan. It is for the homeowners at the golf course, but there is rarely anyone down there. It is really only fun to swim when it is in the 100's here because that is the only time the water actually feels good. It is freezing!!

This picture was taken at one of the wineries that we stopped at called Karma. It is very pretty there and I hear the wine is great also! :)

We drove up the south shore of Lake Chelan to a place called Field's Point Landing. The ferry makes daily stops here on its way to the other end of the lake (Stehekin) and back.

27 weeks!!

Tim and I have both been working a lot lately! I have been working 40 hour weeks instead of 30 lately. It is great to be able to save a little extra money for the time I will be taking off soon! Other than work, though, we haven't had too much going on. Just a little golfing like usual. My sister is coming to visit us this week so we are excited to spend some time with her!

More sad news this week... one of our family dogs back at my parents, Tucker, passed away unexpectedly this week. I found a cute picture of him on my computer so I thought I would post it. There is one of Tim and Tucker sleeping too. There were a few pictures like this.... I didn't realize how often they took naps together!!

While looking for photos of Tucker, I found a cute picture of Grandpa Charboneau with some of us grandkids. We looked though so many photos of him before the funeral, but I didn't have my computer with me so I thought I would share this one with you all.

Our dogs are so goofy! Every night we go through the same routine. We say "Let's go to bed" and they run in "under" the bed for about half an hour until we put them in their kennel. Here is what that looks like....

On to the belly pics... I am 27 weeks now already!! The time is just flying!!

It's A Girl!!!

Sorry to anyone who may have been checking our blog to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. If you haven't heard yet, it is a girl!!! Unfortunately, I had to fly home immediately after my ultrasound because my grandpa was in the hospital and he passed away the next morning. I miss him very much!

Here are two of the ultrasound pictures of our little girl. Tim was able to come with and I think it made it feel a lot more real for him. The ultrasound technician said we must have a gold-medal swimmer in there because she was moving so much that it was hard to take measurements. It was a lot of fun to see her little hands and feet. Tim counted the toes and fingers... they were all there! :)

Bryan and Tanya came out to visit us for a long weekend. We were actually on the same flight back from Minneapolis. Tim and I both had to work, but they were still able to golf every day. I was able to go with once on the weekend. We also went to Leavenworth, drove up to Mission Ridge in Wenatchee, and went wine tasting (well, I just watched and drove for that one). I will post a picture of us up on Mission Ridge even though it is difficult to see since we were in the shade.

Everyone has been telling me to post another picture of my belly so here it is. We took this one last weekend so I was 22 weeks then. I have been getting a lot of comments at work about how small I am for being that far along, but my doctor said that my size was more than adequate so that is good. I have been feeling great and have been enjoying all her movements. Tim has been able to feel her kick already as well as my mom and sister when I was in Minneapolis so that has been fun. We are getting more and more excited to meet her every day!!

19 weeks!!

We have been enjoying the 80 degree weather here this weekend. Yesterday, we planted some flowers and replaced a couple dying bushes that the dogs pulled out (oops!). We also bought a nice table and chairs for the patio so we are ready to enjoy the summer outside! Hopefully we will be able to get some more yard work done today. Even though we are only renting, it is nice to be living in a house with a yard instead of an apartment!

Last weekend I felt the baby move for the first time that I was sure of. Very exciting!! It makes it a lot more real for us!! Here is a picture of my "baby bump" this weekend:

I thought I would add a picture of the crib too since I mentioned it in the last post. Hanging over the front is the blanket that I have been working on. I am almost finished!

Less than a week until we find out if we are having a boy or a girl!! I will try to post after work next Friday to share the news and the ultrasound photos! :)

17 Weeks

We don't really have anything new to report. At my 16-week doctor appointment, she said I am right on track as far as size and weight. I have both my 20-week appointment and an ultrasound scheduled for May 22nd so we are very excited to find out if it is a boy or girl! Let's hope the baby is cooperating that day so we can find out!! We just got a crib earlier this week. I am very proud of myself because I put most of it together myself, which I didn't think I could do. It has a changing table and trundle drawer also so it came in many pieces!

Last weekend, Tim and I watched the movie Marley and Me and Bella sat in front of the tv for about the first hour of it watching along with us. It was too cute!! Her whole body would curve from side to side as the dog moved across the screen.

The fruit trees have all been blooming around here lately and we have promised a few people that we would take pictures, but haven't really had a chance. Tim took one of the trees on the golf course that I will post here, but he thinks those will bloom even more if it is anything like last year. We will try to take a few more this week!

14 Weeks!!

Everyone has been asking how I have been feeling and asking to see my belly photos so I thought it was about time to start using this blog again! I am 14 weeks this weekend and feeling great!! My nightly stomachaches have disappeared and I no longer feel sick with the smell of certain foods. I have been cravings sweets lately, though, so I am trying my best to continue eating healthy. I had my second doctor visit two weeks ago and was able to hear the heartbeat so everything is going well so far!

Here are the two pictures we took today of my growing belly:

I started to notice my belly changing around 12 weeks and took this picture then:

We hope everyone has a Happy Easter tomorrow!! We are just planning on going to church in the morning and we will make ourselves ham and cheesy potatoes in the afternoon. Of course those that know Tim well will not be surprised that we will also be watching the last day of The Masters I am sure!  :)
