Sue & Bryan's Visit to WA

Sue and Bryan came to visit us over memorial day and we all had a great time! Tim and Bryan were able to golf twice while Sue and I rode along to watch them and enjoy the views. I forgot my camera the first time... we had to leave Wenatchee at 5:30 AM to make it on time for their tee time at 6:30 AM... so I didn't get many more pictures of the golf course, but I do have a few. Over the weekend we also went to Leavenworth, which is a Bavarian town that is popular with tourists. It has many small shops similar to the ones in Nisswa, MN if you are familiar with those and many restaurants and wine tasting rooms. One of our favorites so far is the cheese shop... they let you try any of the many cheeses that they have! And there is a Cold Stone there, which is my favorite ice cream!! We also had a chance to shop in downtown Wenatchee and drove up a mountain to see the view of the city.

There is a chance that we may have found a house to rent in Chelan. It is not for sure yet, but everyone at Tim's golf course wants us to move to Chelan and have been watching for places to rent for us. Hopefully it will work out, though, because Tim is already getting a little tired of the 45 minutes drive to and from work every day. Saving money on gas would also be nice! Right now he has to be at work by 5 AM every day so he is waking up at 3:30 AM every morning!! I don't know how he does it!!

Family picture  :)

This is the picture of Wenatchee that we took from high up on a mountain. It doesn't look that cool in the picture, but in person it is amazing! It would be cool to get a picture at night with all the lights on.

Bella seriously fell asleep like this one night. She rolled on her back for a belly rub and we threw the covers over her.

This is the main street in Leavenworth. There are about four blocks on this street and then a couple blocks on the street behind it that look like this. The hotels, grocery stores, and even McDonald's in the town look like this though.

This was taken from a restaurant we ate at in Leavenworth. Such a pretty view!!

Tim and Bryan golfing!

This is the Wenatchee River which is fairly high right now because of all the snow melting on the mountains. When my parents came to visit we were standing on a small beach here which is almost completely covered now.

Here are some pictures from the golf course...
The green is up past the bunkers on this hole. I guess there were some fires several years ago which you can see here, but there are a lot of new trees coming up.

This is from the tee box of the 17th hole (I believe). If you look close enough, you can see some of the lake at the bottom of the mountains. As I have said before, this all looks so much more amazing in person!!!

This is the view from the other direction on the 17th tee box.

These are the orchards on the property that the golf course is also on. I think Tim has said that there are mostly cherry trees.
